I was torn today. My inner earth child wanted to rock a pair of ripped denim and free my pale legs. My business side reminded my how chilly the office and lecture room would be and begged for structure. My solution? A careful mix of work & play.

While short shorts aren’t my cup of tea in the work place, it is fun to take a dose of professional apparel and toss it into everyday wear. Pay attention to fit. I love blazers that have a great fit in the shoulder. I find they can add structure and functionality to any look. I grabbed my Forever 21 navy, cross body purse to hold my school books or my laptop.
